Gold price rises by Rs 500 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the domestic market rose by Rs 500 per tola on Tuesday, continuing its upward trend amid strong global demand.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, hallmark gold is now being traded at Rs 188,800 per tola, up from Rs 188,300 on Monday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stable at Rs 1,970 per tola, the same as the previous day.

International media sources report that gold is currently trading at approximately USD 3,310 per ounce in the global market, a factor that continues to influence domestic rates.
