Two pilgrims found dead after drowning in Gosaikunda



RASUWA: Two pilgrims who went missing on Sunday evening while bathing at the sacred pilgrimage site of Gosaikunda have been found dead on Monday morning.

A rescue team from the Nepal Army recovered the bodies of Manoj Nyaupane of Belbari, Morang, and Sujan Dhakal of Biratnagar, according to Hem Bahadur Shahi, Chief of the District Police Office, Rasuwa.

The Nepal Army had reached Gosaikunda on Sunday night and stayed overnight to carry out the search and recovery operation at first light.
