Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov congratulates Nepal’s Foreign Minister Khanal



KATHMANDU: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has extended congratulations to Nepal’s newly appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, on assuming office.

In a message to his Nepali counterpart, Lavrov conveyed his warm wishes on Khanal’s appointment as Nepal’s foreign minister. He highlighted the long-standing and friendly relations between Russia and Nepal, expressing confidence in continued cooperation to further strengthen bilateral ties and promote mutual benefits for both nations.

Lavrov also wished Minister Khanal good health and success in fulfilling his responsibilities.
