Two killed in motorcycle accident in Nawalparasi, one critically injured



NAWALPARASI EAST: Two youths have died and another was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Nawalparasi East.

According to DSP Madhu Nepal of the District Police Office, the accident occurred early Tuesday morning on the inner road of Madhyabindu Municipality-7, Amrasa forest.

“Nabin Kumal, 24, and Radim Midhun, 22, both residents of Chormara in Madhyabindu-7, died during treatment after sustaining serious injuries in the crash,” said DSP Nepal.

Manish Gharti Magar, 28, originally from Bardaghat Municipality-5 in West Nawalparasi and currently residing in Chormara, was critically injured and has been referred to New Medical College in Bharatpur for further treatment.

The accident took place around 6 a.m. when a motorcycle (Lu 9 Pa 8116) traveling from Amrara to Chormara lost control and crashed.

“All three were riding the same motorcycle,” said DSP Nepal. “We suspect the bike skidded due to high speed. Further investigation is underway.”
