Industrial fair transacts Rs 40 million



BHAKTAPUR: The ninth Bhaktapur industrial and cultural festival organized on the occasion of the New Year and Bisket Jatra concluded on Monday. The festival recorded the transaction of Rs 40 million.

Attended by 300 thousand people the festival was organized under the theme of ‘New Year, New Thoughts: Bases of Progress’.

The 12-day-long festival had made available the agricultural products and tools, handicrafts, automobiles, electric goods, daily essentials, clothes and others.

The buyers were provided 20 to 50 percent discount.

Coordinator of the organizing body, Dipak Thapa, said even the recreational sports were managed for children to play during the festival.
