Uncle and nephew go missing while bathing in Saptakoshi river



BIRATNAGAR: Uncle and nephew have gone missing while bathing in the Saptakoshi River.

16-year-old Janis Acharya and 40-year-old Nawaraj, residents of Itahari-16, Balgram, Sunsari, were swept away while bathing near Bastola in the Koshi River.

According to the police, Nawaraj went missing while attempting to rescue his nephew Janis, who had drowned near the Barahakshetra Temple at around 8:30 am on Monday.

The police have stated that the search operation is ongoing with the support of the Armed Police Force from Pakali and Inaruwa, as well as assistance from local residents and others.
