KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has departed for Doha to attend the 11th Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
Wagle is accompanied by Amrit Lamsal, chief of the Economic Relations Division at the Ministry of Finance.
During the meeting, Wagle will discuss Nepal’s priorities in infrastructure development, climate adaptation, renewable energy, post-disaster reconstruction and economic growth.
In Doha, he is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his counterparts from India, Bangladesh and the Maldives.
Wagle is scheduled to return to Nepal on Ashoj 14.
