Four killed in Kalikot tractor accident



KATHMANDU: Four people have died in a tractor accident in Palanta, Kalikot district.

The tractor was transporting food grains from Thirpu in Palanta-9 when it veered off a cliff near Larfa village in Palanta-2.

According to local police, the accident occurred around 11 p.m. last night.

The deceased have been identified as Amma Shahi (32) of Palanta-5, Sadu Budha (38) of Palanta-4, Rabindra BK (23), and the driver Chandra Prakash Rokaya of Khatyad Rural Municipality-5 in Mugu.

Kalikot police have stated that further details are being gathered as the investigation continues.
