KATHMANDU: The government has decided to release Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Rana from custody on medical grounds.
According to a source at the Ministry of Home Affairs, the decision was made citing the need for urgent medical treatment. While the government has not officially disclosed further details, the source confirmed that preparations are underway to facilitate his release in accordance with legal provisions related to health emergencies.
Rana was arrested after a royalist protest on March 28.
