Power supply to be interrupted in Lalitpur for maintenance work

KATHMANDU: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced a temporary power outage in various areas of Lalitpur today to carry out maintenance and related work.

In a notification issued earlier, the NEA stated that electricity supply to the Shankhamul Town Planning area, under the UN Park feeder of the Pulchowk Distribution Center, will be disrupted from 11 am. to 2 pm to facilitate work on the underground transmission line.

The authority assured consumers that power will be restored promptly if the scheduled work is completed earlier than planned.

Acknowledging the inconvenience caused by the outage, the NEA extended its apologies and requested consumers for their cooperation and understanding.
