Bandipur welcomes over 200,000 tourists in a year



DAMAULI: More than 210,000 tourists visited Bandipur in Tanahun during the year 2081 BS (April 13, 2024 – April 13, 2025), according to the Bandipur Visit Year Secretariat.

This included 60,000 international visitors and 150,000 domestic travelers.

Following the launch of the Bandipur Visit Year campaign on January 1, 2025, initiatives such as infrastructure upgrades, data collection, and classification of tourism service providers have been implemented.

Efforts have also been made to enhance hospitality services, with a focus on encouraging longer tourist stays and increased local spending.

Visitors to Bandipur came from a diverse range of countries, including Japan, China, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, France, the USA, Germany, Denmark, Pakistan, Australia, the UK, South Korea, Belgium, Thailand, Switzerland, Malaysia, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Iran, India, Greece, and Argentina.
