Madhesh Chief Minister Singh extends best wishes on Judshital festival



JANAKPURDHAM: Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, has extended his best wishes to all sisters and brothers in the Madhes Province on the occasion of the Judshital Siruwa festival.

In a message of best wishes today, the Chief Minister has wished for peace, happiness, good health and a long life among the people of the Madhesh.

The festival dedicating to the sensitivity and significance of the nature is the means of passing indigenous skills, awareness of and methods for the environmental conservation and mitigation of global warming from one generation to the next, he said.

“Climate Change, the greenhouse gas effect, bio-diversity crisis and the environmental pollution are global challenges and the Judshital festival makes us aware of the urgency of environment protection in a very meticulously and practical away,” the Chief Minister states.

According to him, the festival spreading the messages for changing our food habits and lifestyle to remain unaffected from heat, accepting equal existence of plants and animals and engaging ourselves for the nature conservation efforts reflects the need of our awareness of the significance of ecological system and bio-diversities. The Judshital festival is being observed in Tarai/Madhes today.
