Two killed in excavator accident



HUMLA: Two people have been killed when an excavator met with an accident in Chankheli Rural Municipality-2 Humla last night.

The deceased have been identified as 45-year-old Parbal Kami of Chankheli Rural Municipality-2 and the excavator driver Arjun Kami, 31, of the same locality, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shankar Pokharel of the District Police Office.

The excavator (State No. 2.03.001 Ka 975) overturned and fell 100 meters down from Pipalang in Loti, Chankheli Rural Municipality. Both the injured were taken to Shrimashtha Primary Health Post for treatment, where they succumbed to their injuries.
