Maoist Center and CPC sign MoU to strengthen party cooperation

KATHMANDU: The Maoist Center and the Communist Party of China (CPC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing mutual cooperation and exchange between the two parties.

The MoU was signed at a special event organized in Chongqing, China, on Sunday. The agreement covers a wide range of collaborative areas, including party building, state administration, cadre training, and experience sharing, according to delegation member Ramdeep Acharya.

As part of the agreement, both parties will promote the internationalization and professional development of cadre education. This includes cooperation in the development of party schools, curriculum design, teacher training, and modern teaching methodologies.

The MoU also envisions the establishment of a high-level mechanism to foster sustained collaboration through official visits, teacher exchanges, joint seminars, workshops, and educational dialogues.

The Nepali delegation, led by CPN (Maoist Center) Secretary Dinanath Sharma, has been on an official visit to China since last Wednesday.

This initiative marks another step in strengthening party-to-party ties and deepening political relations between Nepal and China.
