Minister Khanal stresses need for intellectual movement for national transformation



KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal has emphasized the need for intellectual discourse and movements to drive national transformation.

Inaugurating the first campus assembly of Gramin Adarsha Multiple Campus today, Minister Khanal said the academic sector has a crucial role in guiding society and the nation toward the right path.

“An intellectual movement gives impetus to transformation in the country,” he said. On the occasion, former minister Rajendra Shrestha urged the government to create an environment that encourages young people to stay and build their future in the country.

Campus Management Committee Chair Rameshwor Bohara said the campus has been focusing on providing education relevant to contemporary needs, with particular emphasis on practical learning.
