Capable human resources essential for national security: PM Oli



BHAKTAPUR: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli emphasized the importance of capable human resources for safeguarding national security, noting the increasingly dynamic, multi-faceted, and challenging nature of today’s security environment.

Speaking at the induction parade ceremony for newly commissioned cadets of various Nepali Army groups, held at the Nepali Military Academy in Kharipati, Bhaktapur, Prime Minister Oli highlighted the critical role of a well-trained and professional military force.

He commended the Nepali Army for its significant contributions not only to national defense but also to disaster risk reduction and international peacekeeping efforts.

During the ceremony, Prime Minister Oli presented the traditional khukuri to outstanding cadets and officers who excelled during their training.

Also in attendance were First Lady Radhika Shakya, Defence Minister Man Bir Rai, Prime Minister’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel, and other dignitaries.
