Gold price surges by Rs 3,900 in a single day



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has reached a new record high in the domestic market today, continuing its upward trend for the third consecutive day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold rose by Rs 3,900 compared to the previous day.

It is now being traded at Rs 185,000 per tola, surpassing the previous day’s rate of Rs 181,100 per tola.

The price of silver has also seen a slight increase. It rose by Rs 5 from Rs 1,900 per tola to Rs 1,905 per tola today.
