NEPSE index drops 21.48 points, closes at 2,609.69



KAHTMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) ended lower today, falling by 21.48 points, or 0.81%, to close at 2,609.69. This decline comes after a marginal drop of 0.53 points in the previous trading session.

The index opened at 2,629.69, peaked at 2,636.97 during intraday trading, and hit a low of 2,602.95. Total market turnover amounted to Rs. 5.33 billion, with 10,718,615 shares from 325 listed companies changing hands in 89,731 transactions. Overall market capitalization reached Rs. 4.38 trillion, while the float market cap stood at Rs. 1.48 trillion.
