Sanga-Dhulikhel road: Upgradation begins in Pulbazar section

KAVREPALANCHOWK: Upgradation work has resumed in the Pulbazar area of the Suryabinayak-Dhulikhel section along the Araniko Highway.

Work on the Sanga-Dhulikhel section of the highway had been halted for one and a half years after landowners in the Pulbazar area did not permit construction at the midpoint of the road.

According to Bijay Kumar Mahato, head of the Suryabinayak-Dhulikhel road project, 60 percent of the Sanga-Dhulikhel section has been completed, while 45 percent of the Suryabinayak-Sanga section is done. Six houses in certain parts of this section still need to be demolished to continue the project.
