Burnt vehicles being removed from Singha Durbar premises



KATHMANDU: Authorities have started removing vehicles burnt during the Gen-Z protests inside the Singha Durbar premises using heavy equipment.

According to the Department of Roads, around 1,000 damaged vehicles are being cleared with the help of four heavy machines. So far, 200 four-wheelers and 400 two-wheelers have been managed.

The burnt vehicles are being relocated to the International Convention Centre premises in New Baneshwor.

Department staff member Bishnu Kumar Maharjan said that once the cleanup inside Singha Durbar is completed, burnt vehicles from other locations will also be removed.
