PM interacts with students on Shree Panchami, calls for making nation on own



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said there is no reason for Nepali lagging behind provided that all contributed for the cause of nation with confidence.

During an interaction organised by the Phoenix Inspiration and Imperial World School here on the occasion of the Shree Panchami festival today, the Prime Minister expressed resolution for enhancing infrastructural development and producing world competitive youth force by ensuring quality education for all.

“Nepali youth talents have contributed to making other nations. Now our attention should be for building our own nation. Still we have 10 million youths within the country. We are capable of making our country on our own,” he said during conversation with students, insisting on poverty alleviation and the promotion of national independence and prosperity.

Stating that Nepal was never colonized, he described Nepal as a heritage of knowledge and spiritual significance, enriched with the glorious stories of our ancestors. The Prime Minister said the love for nation, integrity, dedication and exploration of opportunities will lead us to a success.

In his response to a query from students, the Prime Minister said Nepal continues to establish is friendly relations with China, India and other various nations and his recent official visit to the northern neighbour marked various agreements for bilateral cooperation including the agreement on Belt and Road Initiative Framework.

When asked about his biggest dream for Nepal’s welfare, the Prime Minister said, “It is a prosperous Nepal, and happy Nepali.”
