India expresses sorrow over death of Nepali student in Odisha

KATHMANDU: The Government of India has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of a Nepali student from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has extended their condolences to the grieving family during this difficult period.

In a statement, the Ministry confirmed that it has been in continuous communication with the Odisha State Government since the incident occurred.

The State Government of Odisha has assured complete support to the deceased student’s family, and the Odisha Police have launched a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.

The Indian government emphasized its commitment to the safety, security, and well-being of all international students.

They also assured that they are working closely with the Nepali authorities, the Odisha State Government, and the management of KIIT University to ensure ongoing coordination and timely updates regarding the case.
