Maoist Center Secretariat meeting today to decide on party unification



KATHMANDU: The Secretariat meeting of the CPN (Maoist Center)’s General Convention Organizing Committee is scheduled to take place today at 3 PM at the party’s central office in Parisdanda.

According to the party, the meeting will focus on decisions related to unification with other leftist forces, including the CPN (Unified Socialist) and Nepal Samajwadi Party.

The agenda includes discussions on party unity, organizational structure, and management of leadership positions following potential unification.

The meeting comes a day after the Central Committee of the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led CPN (Unified Socialist) decided to merge with the Maoist Center, paving the way for broader left unity talks.
