Gold price down by Rs 400 per tola today

KATHMANDU: The price of gold, which reached a record high on Sunday, has declined today.

After increasing by Rs 1,400 per tola yesterday (Sunday), gold was priced at Rs 167,400, but it has now decreased by Rs 400 per tola to Rs 167,000.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation, the price of gold was Rs 166,000 on Friday, marking a significant one-day increase.

Silver prices have also dropped today. After rising by Rs 15 to Rs 2,085 yesterday, the price of silver has fallen by Rs 20 to Rs 2,065, as reported by the Federation.
