Prime Minister Dahal warns of turmoil if new alliance fails to deliver

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal issued a stern warning of potential turmoil and unrest in the country should the newly formed alliance fail to produce tangible results.

Speaking at the 52nd meeting of the National Development Problem Resolution Committee convened at Singha Durbar on Thursday, Prime Minister Dahal stressed the critical importance of the ruling coalition in expediting development initiatives and upholding good governance.

He emphasized that failure to achieve these objectives could lead to unrest across the nation.

“The primary goal of establishing this new coalition was to accelerate development and ensure good governance. I have previously stated that as long as I am alive, unrest will persist in our nation. If this alliance falters in delivering on its promises, this may unfortunately become a reality,” Prime Minister Dahal remarked.

He further underscored the principle that holding a position of power bears no value if one cannot fulfill their responsibilities.

“There is no significance in occupying any position if one cannot deliver on their commitments. I am committed to action and results, which is why I continue to serve as Prime Minister,” Dahal affirmed.
