Chief Justice Shrestha leaves for India



KATHMANDU: Chief Justice Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha has embarked on a visit to India.

Chief Justice Shrestha left for New Delhi on Saturday upon a friendly invitation from Chief Justice of India Dr. D.Y. Chandrachud.

According to Supreme Court spokesperson Bed Prasad Upadhyaya, Chief Justice Shrestha has gone to India to participate in the special event organized as part of the 75th anniversary celebration of the Indian Supreme Court.

Accompanying Chief Justice Shrestha on this visit are his wife, Roshani Amatya Shrestha, and the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Bimal Paudel.
