KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli has directed the Nepal Police, which bears significant responsibility for maintaining peace and security in the country, to remain vigilant in preventing untoward incidents.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of proactive measures. He instructed the police to predict, investigate, and take stringent actions against crimes.
Prime Minister Oli stressed that the current government will not intervene to prevent the arrest of criminals or accused individuals, nor will it seek to frame innocent people.
He highlighted that the government’s objective is to serve the nation and its people diligently.
The Prime Minister urged the Nepal Police to uphold the highest standards of service while adhering to the Constitution and the law.
He assured that the government is committed to promoting stability and that police personnel should not seek undue favor for promotions or transfers.
“This government does not entertain undue influence,” he stated, encouraging police personnel to perform their duties with confidence.
