KATHMANDU: In the upcoming group stage match of the U19 Cricket World Cup, Nepal, having won the toss, has chosen to bat first against Pakistan.
Nepal’s team management has implemented three changes in its playing 11.
Notably, spinner Tilak Raj Bhandari, who played in the previous match against New Zealand, has been omitted, making way for the introduction of Durgesh Gupta into the squad.
Additionally, Dipak Bohra and Deepak Bohra have been replaced by Bipin Rawal and Dipak Dumre, respectively.
This strategic reshuffling comes on the heels of Nepal’s recent 64-run defeat against New Zealand in the group stage.
The team is determined to turn its fortunes around with a different combination and approach in this crucial encounter against Pakistan.
