Nepal takes on New Zealand today in U19 Cricket World Cup clash



KATHMANDU: In a highly anticipated group stage match of the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, Nepal is gearing up to face off against New Zealand today.

The clash between these two cricketing nations is scheduled to commence at 1:45 PM at Buffalo Park, East London in South Africa.

The 15th edition of this prestigious tournament will showcase the emerging talents of 16 countries engaged in 41 thrilling matches, hosted across five venues that promise to be a glimpse into the future of international cricket.

Nepal finds itself in Group D, alongside cricket powerhouses Pakistan and Afghanistan, with today’s match against New Zealand posing a crucial challenge.

Nepal’s upcoming fixtures include a showdown with Pakistan on Wednesday and a face-off against Afghanistan on Friday.

As the group stage unfolds, the top three teams from each group will advance to the next phase.

The succeeding 12 nations will be divided into two groups, competing in the super six stage where each team will play two games.

Ultimately, the two leading teams from each group will vie for a spot in the semi-finals of the U19 Cricket World Cup.
