Mahasamiti members show little interest in Vice President Khadka’s policy proposal

KATHMANDU: The closed session of the Nepali Congress Central Committee meeting revealed a lack of enthusiasm among party members for the policy proposal put forth by Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka.

According to sources within the NC, party leaders appeared indifferent to Khadka’s proposal, with some seen idling around the premises.

In his presented policy proposal, Khadka criticized new parties, accusing them of disillusioning the public with unrealistic dreams.

“Some new and royalist parties have attempted to garner public support by taking advantage of their frustration and hardship,” he stated. “Despite engaging in these improper and unacceptable practices, they have managed to gather mass support.”

As the discussion on the proposal unfolded, several committee members left the session, expressing dissatisfaction with the ongoing conversation.
