Cabinet meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: A Cabinet meeting is being held this morning at Baluwatar, the official residence of the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister KP Oli has called the Council of Ministers to convene at 9:00 am on Monday, according to his Secretariat.

Regular meetings of the Council of Ministers take place on Mondays and Thursdays.

During this meeting, the government is expected to honor former Speaker Damannath Dhungana, who passed away yesterday at the age of 83 in Old Baneshwar, Kathmandu on Sunday.

After the Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to attend a tribute meeting for Dhungana at Sano Gaucharan at 11:30 am.
