Chief Justice Raut pays tributes to former Speaker Dhungana

KATHMANDU: Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut today visited Tribhuvan University (TU) Teaching Hospital (TUTH) and paid tributes to former Speaker Damannath Dhungana who passed away earlier this afternoon.

His mortal body has been kept at the TUTH crematorium as his last rites have been scheduled for tomorrow, according to Dr Rudra Sharma, the private secretary of Dhungana.

He will be cremated at the Pashupati Aryaghat.

He breathed his last this afternoon in the course of the treatment for liver-related complications at Baneshwor-based Frontline Hospital at 1:30 pm. He was 83
