KATHMANDU: In a thrilling encounter of the PM Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament 2024, Bagmati Province secured a remarkable victory, defeating Tribhuvan Army by three wickets.

The standout performance came from Surya Tamang, who claimed five crucial wickets, playing a pivotal role in Bagmati’s success.

Supporting the effort, Pratish GC and Rijan Dhakal contributed with two wickets each, while Krijan Gurung secured one wicket for the team.

In a match that saw the Army opting to bat first, Bagmati Province displayed excellent bowling skills, restricting their opponents to a total of 97 runs in 27.1 overs.

This victory adds to Bagmati’s impressive performance, building on the momentum from their previous match against Madesh Province, where Surya Tamang had taken six wickets.

The Bagmati team’s collective effort and skillful bowling display have positioned them as strong contenders in the ongoing tournament.
