Govt. committed to prosperity: Minister Gurung



LAMJUNG: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that the government was leading the nation towards prosperity as per the public aspirations.

Speaking at a program in Lamjung Sundarbazaar Municipality-5 Gahate today, Minister Gurung mentioned that the incumbent government has created optimism among the people.

He said that the government is working to ensure that all people have access to basic services such as health, education, transportation, and drinking water.

Minister Gurung, who is also the spokesperson of the government, expressed his belief that the two-party-led government will remain for the next three and a half years and the people will experience something new during that tenure.

He clarified that the government is moving forward to bring about positive changes in the economy and gradually eliminate the problem of unemployment.

When he was the Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Minister Gurung mentioned that the work of a poor-free province, availability of drinking water in households, electricity, roads connecting each municipal centre, smart agriculture campaign, more than 300 households, etc., got speeded up, Gurung said.
