KATHMANDU: Dhruba Adhikari has been elected as the Chairman of the Thamel Tourism Development Council.
According to the vote counting completed this morning, Adhikari secured victory over fellow candidate Bhabiswar Sharma for the position.
Election Officer Uma Devi Prasai announced that Rajiv Pandey, Sahadev Dhamala, and Shrikrishna Thapaliya were elected to the three Vice President positions.
Additionally, Badri Prasad Timalsina has been elected as General Secretary, Punyaram Lageju as Secretary, and Prakash Thapaliya as Treasurer.
Out of 1,193 voters, 1,031 participated in the election for the 15-member working committee.
