Constitutional Council nominates Krishna Man Pradhan as Election Commissioner



KATHMANDU: Krishna Man Pradhan has been nominated for the position of Election Commissioner by the Constitutional Council.

The meeting of the Constitutional Council, held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Sunday evening, decided to nominate Pradhan as Election Commissioner.

The meeting was attended by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Chief Justice, the leader of the main opposition party, the Chairman of the National Assembly, and the Deputy Speaker.
