Sujan Thapaliya scores a century against Nepal Police Club in ongoing PM Cup

KATHMANDU: Sujan Thapaliya, the standout batsman from Koshi Province, showcased his prowess by scoring a century against Nepal Police Club in a match of the Prime Minister Cup National Cricket tournament.

Thapaliya’s century marks the fourth in the ongoing competition, following impressive performances by Rashid Khan of Nepal Police Club, Sandeep Jora of APF, and Binod Bhandari of Nepal Army.

Thapaliya’s century came off 123 balls, featuring six fours and eight sixes, accumulating a total of 105 runs.

Despite his remarkable innings, the Nepal Police Club managed to restrict Koshi Province to a total of 166 runs.

In response to Thapaliya’s century, Karan KC of the Nepal Police Club took three wickets, while Lalit Rajbanshi and Sunil Dhamala secured two wickets each.

Additionally, Kushal Burtel, Sharid Khan, and Sagar Dhakal each contributed with one wicket, collectively contributing to Nepal Police Club’s successful defense against Koshi Province.
