SUDURPASCHIM: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is preparing for the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit to China.
Speaking to the media at Dhangadhi Airport on Friday, Dr. Rana stated that the Chinese government is expected to send the visit’s agenda to Nepal soon.
The Minister emphasized that the Ministry is currently updating information regarding Nepal-China cooperation and the status of existing agreements.
“We will meet with the Prime Minister in the next few days to finalize the agenda for the visit,” Dr. Rana added.
Highlighting Nepal’s long-standing close ties with both China and India, the two neighboring countries, Dr. Rana, a leader of the Nepali Congress (NC), noted that a mechanism has been established to promote mutual cooperation and understanding among the leaders and cadres of the coalition government’s major political parties.
