All four doors of Pashupatinath temple open



KATHMANDU: All four doors of Pashupatinath Temple were opened today at 4:00 am.

All four doors to the temple were opened considering the increasing number of devotees, said Pashupatinath Area Development Trust Spokesperson Rewatiraman Adhikari.

Using only one door is open and three others are opened only after 8:30 am but from today all four doors will be opened since early morning.

After opening all the four doors, the compulsion of the devotees to stay in long queue is expected to end.

Earlier, the four doors of the Pashupatinath temple were opened from 4:00 am only during major Hindu festivals, like Mahashivratri, Haritalika Teej and Balachaturdashi.
