Two more bodies recovered from Narayani river, suspected victims of Trishuli landslide

KATHMANDU: Two more bodies, suspected to be victims of the Trishuli landslide, have been recovered from the Narayani river bank.

On Friday morning, two passenger buses were swept away by a landslide into the river.

Of the two bodies recovered, one was found floating in the river while the other was buried in sand, according to the police.

DSP Beshraj Rijal of the District Police Office in Chitwan stated that the bodies were discovered during the search operation.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be determined.

Earlier today, another body was recovered at Golaghat in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-28.
