Nepali Congress holds parliamentary orientation for newly elected lawmakers



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress is organizing a parliamentary orientation program for newly elected lawmakers today.

The party said the programme aims to brief its representatives on parliamentary practices, procedures and priorities, as well as the party’s election manifesto.

According to General Secretary Pradeep Paudel, the orientation programme is being held for newly elected members of the House of Representatives of Nepal elected through both first-past-the-post and proportional representation systems, as well as newly elected members of the National Assembly of Nepal.
