One killed after flood sweeps man away in Roshi River along BP Highway



KATHMANDU: One person has died after being swept away by a flood in the Roshi River along the BP Highway.

The deceased has been identified as Kunsang Tamang, a resident of Roshi–7 who was working on the BP Highway, according to Roshi Rural Municipality Vice Chair Jwala Waiba.

The highway has been completely obstructed due to flooding triggered by continuous rainfall.

Kavre District Police Chief SP Komal Shah said efforts are underway to clear the blocked road. He has also urged travelers to check the road condition before beginning their journey.
