UML cadres stage protest in Kathmandu against Oli’s arrest



KATHMANDU: Cadres of the CPN-UML have begun a protest in Kathmandu against the arrest of party chair KP Sharma Oli.

Supporters started demonstrating from Chabahil Chowk while an emergency meeting of the party’s secretariat was underway at the UML central office in Chyasal.

Police arrested Oli from his residence in Gundu, Bhaktapur, on Saturday morning.
