ACC Women’s Premium Cup: Nepal facing Maldives today



KATHMANDU: Nepal and Maldives are set to lock horns in the ACC Women’s Premier Cup Cricket today.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 11:30 am Nepali time at the YSD Oval in Malaysia.

Nepal, having secured a spot in the quarterfinals with two consecutive victories, eyes the top spot in the group by triumphing in today’s encounter.

In contrast, Maldives finds itself eliminated from the tournament after suffering defeats in both previous matches.

Earlier in the tournament, Nepal won by 8 wickets against both Hong Kong and Bhutan, showcasing their dominance.

On the other hand, Maldives faced setbacks with a 94-run loss to Bhutan and a comprehensive 172-run defeat against Hong Kong.

In the same group ‘D,’ Bhutan and Hong Kong are also set to clash in their final group stage match today.

The outcomes of these matches will determine the quarterfinal matchups, adding an extra layer of excitement to the tournament.
