RPP hosts tea reception on National Unity Day (Photos)



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) organized an exchange of greetings and a tea reception, attracting the participation of top leaders from various political parties, including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on the occasion of Prithvi Jayanti.

The event, held at Bhrukutimandap on Friday, saw the presence of prominent figures such as Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, among others.

The gathering included leaders and members from diverse political parties, former administrators, security personnel, and other distinguished guests.

RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden extended a warm welcome to the guests, setting the tone for a convivial atmosphere.

Prime Minister Dahal, paying homage to Prithvi Narayan Shah, offered floral tributes to his portrait during the event.

It has become a tradition for the RPP to organize such tea parties and greeting exchange programs every year on National Unity Day.
