KATHMANDU: Crowds gathered at goddess shrines nationwide today to worship and pay homage to the deity on Fulpati, the seventh day of the 10-day Bada Dashain festival.

Devotees believe that offering prayers to goddess Nawadurga, especially during Navratri, can fulfill their wishes.

Navratri consists of nine nights within the larger celebration of Bada Dashain, the most significant festival for Nepalis.

In the Pashupati area, large numbers of devotees flocked to temples such as Guhyeshwori, Bhubaneshwari, Vatsaleshwori, and Jaya Bageshwari.
