Nepal loses two openers, Anil Sah out with half-century blow

KATHMANDU: Nepal has lost two openers in its bilateral cricket match against Canada on Saturday.

Anil Sah has struck with a half-century against Canada.

Starting aggressively, Sah completed his half-century in 6.3 overs. Scoring 50 runs in 20 balls, he hit 7 fours and 3 sixes.

In the seventh over, he hit a six to complete his half-century and got out in the fourth ball of the same over.

Ishwarjot Sohi of Canada dismissed him with LBW.

Previously, opener Aasif Sheikh was also dismissed by Ishwarjot.

After the loss of two openers, captain Rohit Kumar Paudel and Dev Khanal are on the batting end.

Nepal, aiming for a target of 286 runs for victory, has scored 112 runs in the ongoing 21 over of the match.
