KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign currency exchange rates for Friday.

According to NRB, both the US dollar and Euro saw an increase in value compared to Thursday.

On Thursday, the buying price of one US dollar was 134.56 rupees, with a selling rate of 135.16 rupees. For Friday, the buying price rose to 134.70 rupees, while the selling price increased to 135.30 rupees.

Additionally, for Friday, the buying rate of one Euro was set at 144.94 rupees, with a selling rate of 145.59 rupees. This reflects an increase from Thursday’s buying rate of 144.21 rupees and selling rate of 144.86 rupees.

The buying rate for one British pound sterling is now 173.88 rupees, with a selling price of 174.65 rupees. The buying rate for one Swiss franc stands at 153.69 rupees, while the selling price is 154.37 rupees.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate remains at 89.33 rupees, with a selling rate of 89.72 rupees. The buying rate for one Canadian dollar is 96.97 rupees, and the selling rate is 97.40 rupees.

According to the bank, the buying rate for one Singapore dollar has been set at 110.50 rupees, with a selling rate of 110.96 rupees.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is 8.75 rupees, with a selling rate of 8.79 rupees.

The buying rate for one Chinese yuan is 18.80 rupees, and the selling rate is 18.89 rupees. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is 35.86 rupees, with a selling rate of 36.02 rupees.

Additionally, the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is 36.96 rupees, with a selling rate of 37.12 rupees.
