Police arrest five individuals with 61,000 fake notes in Bara

BARA: Five people have been arrested with 61,000 fake notes from Bara.

Those arrested include 44-year-old Ram Chandra Mahato Koiri from Sarlahi Chandranagar Rural Municipality-3, Sumit Sah from Bara Parwanipur Rural Municipality-5, as well as Santosh Patel, Bishal Kumar Srivastav, and Niraj Srivastav from Birgunj-10.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Dadhi Ram Neupane stated that the arrests took place in Jitpur Bazar, Jitpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City-7 on Wednesday.

Neupane added that the individuals were caught with 61 counterfeit notes of Rs 1,000 while engaging in fraudulent activities in the Jitpur market.
