KATHMANDU: On the third day of the four-day Chhath Festival, devotees gathered at the banks of Kamal Pokhari in Kathmandu to offer prayers to the setting sun.

The festival will conclude on Friday morning when devotees will make their offerings to the rising sun. Similar gatherings took place at Guheshwari and along the Bagmati River in Kupondole, where devotees offered prayers to the setting sun.
